Six teams that could crash playoff party in '09
http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=549179Here are the six teams that might replace the six teams that might not make it back to the postseason.
5. Bears
Now, they've got their first franchise quarterback since Sid Luckman.

Chiefs? I doubt that. They haven't really improved all that much. They're switching to a 3-4 without a good OLB. They have a QB who I love. They also have Cassell who will be starting. The right side of that line is not that good. Their DBs aren't anything good as a unit.
I know the Falcons and Dolphins made a turn around, but I highly doubt that this franchise is going over 8-8.
Oh, and for the Bears, I hope they'll fall flat on their face. All that overhyping.

Chiefs are still terrible, but in a terrible division. I think that is why they made the list.
Cowboys are not making the playoffs. Sure they have all the talent in the world, but Romo still sucks.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Seahawks won that division.
Bears only have improved their QB, and not by a lot. Need someone for him to throw to. Forte is amazing, but he cannot do it all.
The rest I agree with. Pats are stacked. It is time for the Texans to take the division. We're bringing purple back.

I agree with the Pats and Texans. As a matter of fact, that sounds like the AFC Championship game to me. I really like the team Houston has put together.
Cheifs and Bears - Both have overhyped QB's and will miss the playoffs. Not much for supporting casts either even if the QB does play well.
Cowboys - I think they're the 2nd best team in that division and can grab a wild card spot
Seattle - Cardinals are good, Niners are improving, and I don't think Hasselbeck is anywhere near 100%. They miss out on the playoffs again.
Skol Vikings! Go Cubs!
