In his interviews he kept saying he didn't have any answers. Ownership obviously wants someone that has answers.
But I agree teams don't give coaches enough time in most cases. The real good team stick with there coaches through the bad times.

To your first point. Mike just needs some time as well. His next stint as a HC he will have the answers, or atleast have a plan to get the answers.
