Shawn Merriman arrested

Shawn Merriman of the San Diego Chargers was taken into custody by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department after an alleged altercation with Tila Tequila.

San Diego Sheriff's deputies responded to a call this morning at 3:45 AM. Tila claims she was "choked and physically restrained" by Merriman after she tried to leave his residence.

Merriman was charged on scene with battery and false imprisonment.

I hope he was wearing a hazmat suit because he probably picked up several STD's being in the same room with her.

IMO, he's obviously not paying attention when the NFL warns players on who they hang out with.

Man, did San Diego ever squander what they had. LT is now looking past his prime and the heart of that defense is getting arrested less than a year after tearing his ACL. It's a good thing they brought in Norm Fucking Coleman to fix up that team and make a deep run in the playoffs!

Merriman might have a boatload of talent, but he is a worthless human being.
Out here in D.C. (right next to College Park where he went to school) he has a pretty shitty reputation as well. Looks like it is about time for him to get another suspension.

Except for all the things he did for Californians and the firefighters after those wildfires.... Tila Tequila more than likely deserved to be choked anyway, he was probably trying to prevent her from poluting the gene pool

When you have a boatload of money and major issues being a good person, the people around you force you to do charitable things so people will say "Look at all he did for charity!"
Not saying that it is not good for the charity and for the people that he helps, but doing something for charity does not make someone a good person.

What gave him a a poohie rep in DC is my question. And I'm sure you have plenty of skeletons in your closet. Probably not choking women bad thpugh, however it was only Tila Tequila. And one again, if you think Merriman is bad, could you think of the demon spawn that would be created by their kid? He may have just prevented the coming of the Anti-Christ
