Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander (foot) will miss "at least a couple of weeks" with a broken bone in his foot according to head coach Mike Holmgren.

Updating previous reports, ESPN's John Clayton reports Seattle Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander (foot) may miss four to six weeks of action due to a broken bone in his foot. With the Seahawks having a Bye during Week 5, it is possible he could miss just three games.

This is completely the works of the Madden curse. Thats why I drafted 4 top rated RB in my fantasy league. Alexander was my 1st pick followed by Portis, A.Green, and Corey Dillion. This really blows.

You are correct sir. Lady luck shines on the bears once again. But, I'll still be rooting for ol' Holmgren and the Seahawks come next Sunday night. Don't count them out just yet. And not that I wish an injury on any player, but I think Rex Grossman is due for his own annual IR appointment pretty soon.
