Why "graduate" when you are just going to sign with a new team a few days later?
    Lame, very lame.
Exactly! This move makes Seau look stupid imo. But then again if it was me id go for the ring to! Id just feel dumb to have a huge press conference about retiring a few days earlier.

Isn't it about time for Michael Jordan to unretire?

This puts a large uncool mark on this guys career. once you leave the field, stay off it.

    San Diego - warm
    Miami - warm
    New England - cold

He's an old football player, he's going to freeze.

The Pats needed another linebacker because of the injury problems and it adds more depth. I'm just interested to see if he will play like his Chargers form.

ah stop giving him such a hard time, im sure they called up his agent begging for him to come and play just as long as they need him due to their problems atm at LB, if you love the game its hard to stay away, after thinking his career was over and gets offered one last chance to be around the game - probably for the last time in his life (as a player anyways), why not answer when opportunity comes knocking on your front door?

Yeah, screw the Patriots and screw Seau. The Patriots suck and Seau should have retired a year ago.

Patriots | McGinest critical of Seau
    Tue, 22 Aug 2006 07:54:01 -0700

The Boston Herald reports Cleveland Browns LB and ex-New England Patriot Willie McGinest is upset with New England Patriots LB Junior Seau's decision to wear McGinest's old No. 55 jersey. "What if I had went to San Diego? I don't even think that would have been an option for me to ask for 55," McGinest said. "I think they would have said, 'You know what, you're a great player, but we've got to put this number to the side because of Junior.' And out of respect, I wouldn't have asked for the number."
