    ESPNews reports the New England Patriots have signed free agent LB Junior Seau to a contract. Financial terms have yet to be announced.

    There is a reason why Miami and SD gave up on him.

    Panic short-term depth it appears.

    Starting middle linebacker Tedy Bruschi is sidelined with a wrist injury and inside linebackers Monty Beisel and Freddie Roach have been battling injuries as well.
