i was at the Bengal/Patriot game today....Lawrence Maroney burned the Bengals big time.
He has something the Vikings dont have....outside speed from the backfield.
Wish we would have drafted him now.

Yeah, he had an awesome game, loved that long run.
Fun to watch, bet that was a fun game to be at.
That was good to see Maroney break a couple of runs there.
Gotta love the U product!
Having not seen every game from beginning to end . . . what is the problem with CHESTER TAYLOR?
#1.
Is he missing the holes?
#2.
Is the line not blocking?
#3.
Is it a combination of the two?
or
#4.
Does he need to be benched so he can learn from MOORE (If he isn't hurt)

The Vikings defense is above average without Mr. Greenway and Mr. Taylor just starts out too slow.
Yeah Maroney is looking like a beast. I dont wish we would have drafted him though im glad we got greenway(to bad about the injury though)but im glad my second favorite team atleast got Maroney so i can still cheer for him and his team(except against the vikes).
yes, it was a fun game.
I really dont like the Bengals although I live here.
The Bengals really werent that bad, it just wasnt there day.
Maroney
though....speed!
Plus he was breaking tackles and has a great stiff arm he used often...reminded me quite honestly of Ricky Williams.
I think part of the Viking running game problems is they either cant or wont go outside.
Almost all their runs are between the tackles.
And with a mostly short passing game, they are easy to defend.
It doesnt help we really dont have a number 1 receiver either.
If Williamson doesnt start catching balls soon....it doesnt look good.
We will look like the Ravens without as good as defense.
Seriously, who are our stars???????????
Name 1......
I would have taken Maroney in the draft instead of Greenway. And a lot of players instead of Williamson.

Patriots | Maroney performs well Week 4
Sun, 1 Oct 2006 20:32:11 -0700
Albert Breer, writing for the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots RB Laurence Maroney ran for 125 yards on 15 carries during the team's Week 4 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Maroney's numbers were the most by a Patriots rookie since former Patriots RB Robert Edwards, who had 24 carries for 196 yards Dec. 13, 1998. Maroney also scored two touchdowns in the game which made him the first rookie to score on the ground multiple times since former Patriots RB Curtis Martin did it five times in 1995. Maroney was a part of one of the team's most productive ground attacks since Dec. 26, 1993 when the team had 257 yards on 58 carries. The Patriots had 238 yards on 4 carries during the Week 4 game.
The guy plays like he is in fast forward compared to the others on the field.
