The broncos are having an amazing offseason as far as getting something for nothing.
They are like the guy trading a paper clip all the way up to a house.

Re: San Fran trades draft picks!
You would think that the Niners would want MORE picks not less with all the holes that they have to fill.
But I guess that Shanahan wanted lower pics so that he could gamble on this year's version of Maurice Clarett. :lol:BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Re: San Fran trades draft picks!
Interesting move by San Fran. I wonder if they picked up the extra pick because they have two first rounders they want to get, or if they are planning on making some additional moves with their #6 pick.Broncos deal 22nd overall pick to 49ers
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The San Francisco 49ers now have two first-round picks in this month's NFL draft.
The Niners acquired the 22nd overall selection in the draft from the Denver Broncos on Wednesday for picks in the second round and third round.
The Broncos will receive the 37th and 68th overall picks in the deal.
The Niners own the sixth overall pick in the draft as well as No. 22 in the first round.
The New York Jets are the only other team with two first-round picks in the April 29 draft.
The Broncos now own seven picks in the first four rounds. They have the 15th overall selection after moving up from 29th in a deal with Atlanta.
Denver had acquired the 22nd overall pick from Washington in a trade last April.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: San Fran trades draft picks!
no kidding, They traded away the 29th pick and some extra mid round picks for the 15th and now they traded thier extra first rounder to get those picks back...
Funny, I didn't think there would be any more pick trades until draft day... I guess I was wrong.
Thanks Lotza!

Re: San Fran trades draft picks!
With the season the niners had last year you would think they would try to get a pick from everybody, not get rid of some.

Re: San Fran trades draft picks!
Why would you even make this trade before draft day. You don't even know who will or will not be available at 22.

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

Re: San Fran trades draft picks!
the draft this year is so deep that they could get a quality player in any round. I think they just want more AAA players from the 1st day
