While having a great upside, he just won't ever have it upstairs.....

I could have picked Daunte off. Watch him pass the ball, and he stares at his intended receiver the entire play. I hate to double post this but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HabVr...elated&search= says it all. I am SOOO glad I don't have to live through another daunte season. Looks like that grade for him wasn't so bad after all.... ESPN eat your heart out.

And old Al Michaels speaking on his converstion with Culpepper stating that Culpepper "could'nt believe that the Vikings were trying to trade him" and he "thought he would spend his entire career in Minnesota". Give me a break.

part way through the game I was hoping that Pep would screw up and not make us look like total idiots for trading him. Then, believe it or not, I felt sorry for him. He just won't be able to get it done when it counts. The only way to disprove that, is getting it done under pressure.

it was his first game back from a horrific injury and playing the world champs. it's still incredible that he even played this game.

so whenever daunte has a good or even great game, i'm gonna start a thread saying "Good Ol Daunte". and bash the vikings front office for trading him.

give me a break, you guys are vultures.

You do that Maddonna- But you still won't convince me that he can read a defense or that he is capable upstairs of winning the big game.

    Re: Same "OLE PEPPER"

    I have to admit something.
I was okay with the whole Daunte thing.
I always said he did what he had to do and I don't blame him.
However, I didn't like the way he went about it.
    I still wished him well.
My admission is when I saw him in a Miami uniform I was hoping for someone to sack him and rip his leg off.
I thought it was great when he choked under pressure (like old times).
People can continue to stick up for Pep but the bottom line is look at his 4th qtr comebacks.
    Not many.
When the game is on the line most of the time he chokes.
    That's just Pep.
The guy has great talent but he has never been a good leader.
    This is not new news.
You can have all the stats you want but when the game is on the line and you need to step it up what do you do?
That's how people should be judged.
No matter what happens in Miami this year I will always stand behind this trade.
The guy didn't want to be in MN anymore.
    Good riddance.
Saban didn't seem very pleased with how he handled himself in the 4th qtr.
If he is still the starter November 19th, I hope we sack him 9 times.
I will be at that game getting beat up by my Dolphin fan in laws and the crowd.

i don't plan on trying to change anyones opinion on the guy. some people are just too stubborn.

but the man played 7 years here. he had his ups and downs but you can not say he didn't try his hardest. he hasn't always had the best supporting cast but he did become one of the best Qb's in the league. no one can deny that.

i just can't stand it when some guys are like, i want to see his leg broke, or i hope he burns in hell.

that pic of the culpepper jersey being burned is an utter disgrace. first off, that is a vikings jersey that is being burned in pic, which is complete disrespect and offensive. second, if you really wanted a pic, why not burn a culpepper dolphins jersey. learn some class for fuck sakes.

i guess there are just some who lack class. guess you can't do anything about it.

oh and something that absolutely drives me insane, is when someone says that culpepper can't read a defence.

that is easily the most ignorant response i hear and i've heard it about 1000 times.

if you don't like the guy, fine, but don't use amateur reasoning. it's annoying
