Thread: Saints Go Marching on Vick!

Great Game!
I am not one to get into the emotional reawakening of the city stuff, but I do have to say these Saints are playing with a lot of heart, they might even be for real.
They have a great game plan going, and have contained Vick so far.
Forget the Vick OPTION that has been talked about for 2 weeks now, ain't happening tonight.

Everything going Saints way.
It is 1 minute to halftime with the score of 17-3 Saints.

Let's see if this holds.

They remind me of the Vikings a bit.
They also went through an overhaul of coaches and players,
Both teams believe in their systems.
I think their coach (sean payton) is a litlle more offensive minded.

wow, half time saints 20-3 with a 51 yard field goal by a 42 year old kicker, they've blocked both a punt (returned for TD) and a field goal.

they've just got all the luck in the world right now

ugh.. i dont care who wins..

but i need cick to get me some more points for my fantasy team!!

(it's nice to see the saints rebound though, dont get me wrong)

I have to admit...
I thought the Birds were going to blow them away tonight... even with all the hype.
I'd like to see Atlanta comeback though, just to keep it a good game...either that or have the Saints put up 35 more points and blow them out of the water!

I thought the Dirty Birds would win, but I thought it would be a game until the end.
As to wanting them to come back, NO WAY.
Anytime Vick gets validation that he shouldn't be a QB in the NFL, I like that. He is 5 for 15 tonight and has seen the turf quite a bit.

Bush tried to make a juke on the new carpet, and he just fell over.
It has that crud in between the fake grass, that doesn't give much grip when it is still new.
That might be slowing Vick a bit also, but they have been containing him for the most part anyway.

good to see a chink in ATL's armor considering we play them later.
now people will stop saying NO doesnt deserve to be undefeated.

We don't play the Falcons this season.

It's not the kind of game I wanted to miss my sleep for.

Well it has been interesting to see the Saints actually playing well. But I was hoping to see my boy Morten make some more FGs in his return. Instead it's only been one so far, and a blocked try by a horrible ST-line play.
