TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — As Nick Saban sat in his new office, he expressed some of the frustrations he dealt with in his old one.

The former Dolphins coach, who was introduced Thursday as the new head coach at Alabama, said he had trouble working with General Managers Rick Spielman and Randy Mueller during his two years in Miami..............

Re: Saban slams GMs on way out

From all the interviews I have seen with him and all the clips it was pretty apparent that he really wanted to go back to college football. To leave the way he did however will make it very difficult if he ever wants to get back to the NFL. Then again the whole statement of how he left the team better off than he found them is certainly debatable. I would say they are pretty much the same.

Shame on Saban, what a classless move on from headcoaches standpoint. If I were Alabama, this man's loyalty is not to be trusted.

The general consensus is that Saban is psychotic.
He has a few Denny genes in him.

Ha...Spielman hooked Saban up with tons of talent...and Saban pulled a Childress and wasted it! (But worse than Childress, so I guess we could say Childress pulled a Saban)

Either way, when you have Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, and Randy McMichael at WR...Ronnie Brown as youre RB....and a defense with players like Jason Taylor and Zach should be able to win some games.

This guy was just another college flop that didn't have what it takes to win in the NFL. Look at NFL coaches going to college (Weiss, Wannstedt)...they win...wonder why lol
