    Ryan Grant on IR

Jay Glazer is reporting that Ryan Grant is out for the year.

Tough blow for the Packers, I'm reporting RB Ryan Grant is done for the year w severe ankle and leg injuries. Will be placed on IR.

Not a huge loss in my opinion. Grant = Overrated.

He may be over rated, but he is their running game.

Of course, Rogers has looked pretty good in the preseason. May not be that big of an issue for them.

Correction - He WAS their running game. They rely so much on the pass that it can't hurt them much to plug somebody else in as RB. I doubt they'll see a huge dip.

They don't have anyone else - the Packers kept 2 tailbacks and 3 fullbacks when they cut down to 53.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

They have Brandon Jackson (GO HUSKERS!) who filled in well for Grant. I just picked up Jackson in all three of my fantasy leagues.

I saw that. That sucks. I hate to see injuries no matter what the team.

My guess it they will move over to Brandon Jackson now.

Well ... they kind of have to. No other HB on the roster.

I think they might have someone on the practice squad.

I picked him up in 1 that I was seriously hurting in the RB position. It pains me to have a former Husker/current Packer on any of my rosters. I cried a little.

It was Jackson's spot to lose not that long ago ... and he lost it.

The Packers fans will try to play this down ... but this is a very big loss.
