Re: Roy Williams traded to the Cowboys

I have a feeling this will cause a blowup in Big D.. I mean the first time Roy has more balls pitched his way, TO will go off.. during the game, after the game and probably for a few days after... and he still will be pissed.

Mind you.. they have enough going on in the locker room.. adding a threat to TO probably won't help.

I'm sure T.O will love this.. Seriously. They don't give him the ball in double coverage. So why not make sure that the defense has to pick their poison, per say, on who to double team.

He should, but TO isn't about to let the attention go not to mention the catches..
    TO isn't rational.

I think this will give TO more catches..

TO knows the world expects him to throw his team under the bus now, and that will help him keep his yap shut. I think he'll do anything he can to stay in big D, they have to be the last real contender that would put up with his shit.

How many guys has TO played with that draw the double team to themselves, leaving TO in 1 on 1? My guess is none. Jerry Rice possibly, but that was a decade ago.

Oh great...as if Dallas didn't have enough talent already. I thought Millen was gone?

If TO and Roy finds a way to get along...............game over.

On the other hand, I do have Romo has my fantasy QB (too bad he's out for a while).
Because I'm a Vikings fan, they are that much sexier.

I actually feel like this is a good deal for the Lions, only because Williams is in a contract year, and he wasn't going to resign.
Brad Childress is 1-6 in games played Dec. 17 or later.

If Brad can't get it done with that WR group then he will be done really fast.

Look - TO is a complete disaster as a human being, I won't disagree with that.
But I have *never* heard anyone question how hard he plays on the field.
I can't see him being upset with this move.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Re: Roy Williams traded to the Cowboys

All this does is put an even greater amount of pressure on Romo.
Think about it: TWO Pro Bowl WRs, a Pro Bowl TE, a Pro Bowl RB, and how many Pro Bowl OL?
    That's choke city.

As a D coordinator, I would still double and triple team TO every play.
Have everyone but TO catch a pass, then I wait for the melt down to happen on the sidelines.

    Too easy.

Re: Roy Williams traded to the Cowboys

TO is going to be mad. only one ball for way too many weapons. sure they should score more tds, but TO is not happy unless he is the guy scoring.
And really they need someone on D with all the injuries in the secondary. As marshall faulk said on NFLn today, they should have given up that much for a cornerback instead of another WR.

and poor BJ, his arm is going to fall off.
    We're bringing purple back.
