The rookie WR class - happy with Williamson?
I was bored at work and was checking out the stats on the rookie receivers and Williamson looks pretty good on paper right now. Only B.Edwards is averaging more yards per game, and no rookie WR is averaging more TDs per game (.5 for Troy, .33 for Edwards and M.Williams). Williamson currently is on pace to gain 664 yards and score 8 touchdowns.
Anyway, point is, are we happy with this? I think he has looked really good, but quite a few yards have come in garbage time. Do you want more of a contribution or is this about what you expected? And are you happy we took Williamson or would you prefer Williams at No. 7 or Jones at No. 18 and something else at 7? Just trying to spark a different conversation about an old subject.

So far I would say that I'm satisfied with how williamson is playing I still beleive that it was the best draft move and I think he will start making a bigger contribution to the team later on in the season.

Yah im happy with me.. I was a huge DJ supporter and think we should have took him at 7th and hoped for Williamson at 18th or traded up a little to get a better pick and take him.. But either way im glad we have him!

Williamson has exceeded my expectations so far. he has been one of the few bright spots on offense.

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

I am very happy with what Williamson has done so far. I didnt think he would do much at all this year, but that shows how much I know.

I voted for Edwards although I am happy with Troy and probably would just keep Erasmus and Troy over Edwards.

Re: The rookie WR class - happy with Williamson?
I am happy with what he has been able to accomplish up until now, especially considering how little he has been used. I know he needs some seasoning, but geez look what he has done when given the opportunity! If he doesn't get an ample amount of balls next Sunday I am actually going to scratch through my head as scratching the surface is done with for this year.
I should start another post, why in gods green earth are they not using him more, I know it is early, but are any of the other plans working?
This guy TWill can just rip, have the guy go long on every 2nd play, keep everyone honest and see what the kid can really do.
I for one hated the pick originally, but as is tradition I warmed up to the Vikes plan afterwards, this kid = Stud
All I really want is the stupid comparisons to stop, Randy is Randy and for heavens sake Troy is awesome!!!
Cheers!
