Re: Rookie of The Week voting?

    Game balls
Peterson entered the game as the NFC leader in yards from scrimmage. He should keep that title for another week after finishing with 224 yards rushing and 9 receiving. He also had 128 yards on returns, giving him 361 all-purpose yards, the third-highest total in NFL history.
    yes!

Oh ya, I forgot to mention, just think what kind of day (oh the numbers!) AP would have had if were weren't using the Zone Block.

But hands down, AD deserves it without question.....

5 passing TDs, 388 yards and no picks on the road against an undefeated opponent trumps 224 yards and 3 rushing TDs.
Just barely, but it does, IMHO.

Start voting for AP, Sharper, Henderson, AW, Pwill, and Kwill for sure.

I didn't see Phat Pat on there, (or Dallas Clark) that will make it hard for him to get voted in by the fans.
Speaking of Phat Pat, that was a great play when he just tore the ball out of Griese's arms for a fumble recovery.

On a side note, did anyone else get sick of the ridiculous amount of press coverage after the New England game. The NFL network kept coming back to it every 5 minutes.

    Maybe.
But it is expected out of Brady.
With AP it was something special to watch...

    5 TDs is 5 TDs.
How many times does that happen a season?
Hell - LT had FOUR rushing TDs yesterday.

Awards are just awards, who cares. We got a W and AP put up some amazing numbers against a pretty respectable Defense. I'll take that over any award (but AP is winning Rookie of the Year).

Plus, when you have WRs like Moss, Stallworth and Welker... you had better be putting up some good numbers.
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

    Nice.
You say "Who cares about awards?" in one breath and then crow about AD winning the RoTY.

    LOL.
The discussion was about how the fawning media would probably give the award to Brady and I'm supporting that case.
