Falcons | Police and Courts: QB Michael Vick
Mon, 16 Jan 2006 12:52:10 -0800
Steve Wyche, of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports the woman who accused Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick of infecting her with genital herpes is gearing up for trial. It could possibly publicly expose details of the civil case after court-ordered mediation in December did not resolve the issue. Cale Conley, who represents Sonya Elliott, couldn't elaborate on the details of the case due to a confidentiality clause but noted a trial would occur in April or May based off the status of the pretrial phase. However, a financial settlement could be reached before trial and the details would then remain confidential. Further mediation between the two sides has not been scheduled. Vick has declined comment on the situation but has agreed to submit a blood test, phone records and medical records. Elliott is suing for unspecified damages, including possible medical costs.

Exactly, IF, they are true. But guess what, whether they are true or not, she will get that big fat check, and she knows that. If they are true, then I am happy for her, when she gets paid. It's those(not necessarily her) that make these things up, to get paid, that disgust me.

Yeah, that's the problem. If it's true it is sad and no amount of money is worth it. If it is false then it is sad because someone's reputation gets ruined over nothing. Accusations can destroy people even if they are completely ungrounded."Prophet" wrote:

The name Ron Mexico sticks regardless of who is to blame. He picked and used the alias and I will honor his name choice.

Re: Ron Mexico is in the news again...
if the allegations were true there is no way vick would just give up a blood sample, and his medical records his lawyer would fight it or he would pay her money to shut up. so this proves that it's a lie cause vick woudln't want to wreck his image and potentially ruin all his endorsements over something like this. he probably never met the broad
I don t buy Wisconsin cheese.
