    Hah.

    That's awesome.

Keep minimizing him / "disrespecting him" in the lad's vernacular.

Motivate Aaron Rodgers to get better. This will NOT work out good for his naysayers.

Our line has sucked for him. Ted understands, finally. Aaron seems to not care about even that slowing him down anymore. Frankly, I'm thinking some profoundly new QB ground to be hewn.. I know it when I see it comin'...

(Oh, and you dicks that plan to type "that's about right" better remember you'd blow him to even know him on the Vikes )

    imo

    :P
So Rodgers has turned into the QB you always suspected he would be and you've turned into the troll we've always suspected you were.

If you've come here to rub it in, rub in your ass!

Re: Rodgers is better than Favre

    Is Rodgers good?

    Certainly.

Better than anyone on Minnesota's roster?

    So far.

Is he one of the best in the NFL right now?

I'd put him in the top 10 easily...top 5 likely.

    Is he better than Favre?

    No.

With a better team, Rodgers won a Superbowl. Good for him. Favre won one too...remember?

5 years in, Brett won his first of THREE MVP awards. How many does Rodgers have? And he's heading into his 7th season....

I'll grant you that Rodgers has a better TD/INT ratio than Favre...but he also has a receiver corps that Favre never had until the end of his career.

Favre was forced to be great by elevating the level of play of his team...Rodgers is great within a loaded system.

When Rodgers starts taking No-Name WR's and turning them into Pro-Bowlers,
then you can start claiming he's better than Favre. When Rodgers starts carrying the team on his shoulders, then you can start preaching how he's better.

Again, I think Rodgers is going to be a pain in our tails for a long time....much like Favre was. But I think that Favre was a more dangerous QB. He simply did more with a lot less.

    All BS aside, .......

Couldn't you say that he did alot more cause he was willing to take alot more risks than your normal QB?

Sometime you wound up with a "Lewis" like play and sometimes you wound up with a 2007 and 2009 NFFC Championship play.

    Again, honest question. No BS.

Yes, but following that train of thought.

Couldn't you say that Frerotte did alot more in 08 than TJ did because he was willing to take alot more risks than TJ?

Gus threw a LOT of interceptions, but he also threw alot more yards, alot more TD's and got alot more wins.

Sometimes you gotta just fire it in there if you want to win. The real challenge is just knowing when you need to play conservatively. (NO game as an example)

SF game, you gotta make that throw. Giants NFCCG, maybe don't try and force it.

If your D is good enough, and you have the playmakers on O to score more often than not, you can afford to be aggressive.

LOL, I wonder if the Noodle is as tired of being compared to TJ as I am hearing you guys try to compare the two.

OK, If you want to go there. Yes, I would say that Gus did better than TJ did initially, however, when TJ was let back on the field, he was a bit more "Free" with what he did with the ball and the wins/losses kindof showed it.

Almost something one would expect from a QB that was learning his craft.

I know I'd grow tired of being compared to a guy with TJ's caliber if I were Favre.

HOF... can't hold a starting spot.
