Pound for Pound, at their best, I would take rice but when it comes down to hands and leadership abilities, its CC all the way.

I still go with Cris. Jerry Rice had better stats but that doesn't make him better. It's not about being biased here. Who was the leader of the niners all those years? montana and young. When they left, what did he do? Carter was always the leader of the Vikes no matter who was at QB. He did well no matter who tossed him the rock. Rice was still young enough to accomplish things when Young left and he didn't have 1 good year after that. Nuff said

Yeah I didn't see anyone saying Carter was better then Rice. The only comparisson I saw was a reference to Rice asking for Carters number. In their prime I would definately take Rice he is arguably the best WR of all time.

But yeah he is winding down. Amazing really that he still wants to play. Amazing that he is still able to play. I think he could do some NFL teams some good. Maybe the lions will grab him they need a WR.

Del Rio, no disrespect but don't they have enough WRs? I could see as maybe a 4th WR to help mold the good young WRs they already have. I think that would make sense.

Yeah they do I was being a smartass. Because they Drafted Williams and I thought they had plenty of good WR's.

Honestly he is done. I thought he would do well with the Seahawks but he doesn't get thrown to much anymore. And I don't know if it is because the QB is looking past him or he is just not open.

last year was one of his lowest in terms of catches, after the fuss made by the Hawks in signing him then I expected more. I think his speed is slowing and Seattle realised that he wasn't fitting into their offensive schemes as they thought he was going to.
Some one said earlier about him being a WR coach here - I think we already have a good coach in Wes Chandler who will make a big difference to our WR corps. You can't teach players speed but you can teach them good technique and route-running and that is something Chandler brings.
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

"All he does is catch touchdowns" - words that meant absolutely NOTHING in Philly...instead they wanted to get WRs like Todd "I'm chickensh*t to go over the middle" Stinkston and Freddy "I wanna thank my hands" Bitchell!

Yeah, you guys sure know how to pick 'em!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE
