Re: Rex Grossman and Jason Campbell go down

i have a feeling both of them will be out for close to the rest of the season.
I"m not sure how bad Grossman's injury was, but it looked really bad.
if he didn't tear his mcl and acl he's lucky.
his knee bent about 30* sideways.

THey diagnosed Campbell with a dislocated patella tendon, which is the kneecap.
He should be out for at least 3-4 weeks, since that is his plant foot, and he'll be putting lots of pressure on it and probably taking hits to it if he comes back.

He won't come back, I don't see the Skins winning without him, and the only way he'd be back is if they went to the playoffs.
As much as I don't like to see people injured, this really helps the Vikings on both sides.

I think I'd rather see Grossman starting for the Bears than Griese next week ... sounds like a bad game for injuries - was it a dirty game or bad pitch conditions that contributed to it?

While I wanted the deadskins and bears to slug it out, and perhaps tie, I didn't like seeing the injuries. With four important games left lets hope that the injury bug stays clear of our guys.

I'm with Anglo on this one.
Sexy Wrecksy is a bit more careless with the ball, but hey, who cares.
We should beat them regardless of who thier QB is right?
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Actually as we face Dilfer this week, that's 3 no. 2s out of 4 remaining teams.

I'd like to stand in the choir too, that says Greise can be just as good as Grossman. But who cares, the Bears is a team we must beat either way.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.
