There is nothing "new" here that has not already been discussed, IMO. Maybe I missed something, and I will hear about it if I did, but we all had a good idea of what this was going to say, and guess what? We were right!!

Martin is not emotionally able to deal with verbal abuse, the Miami dolphins tried tough love to get him over it, and the NFL is going to side with Martin and pretend this behavior is unprecedented and unacceptable.

There might be nothing "new" here, but wanted to post it for those who wanted to read the whole thing.

This is not tough love, it is abuse.

Why do you continue to blame the victim in your posts? Do you believe abuse, threats, and extortion of young players is appropriate in the NFL? Is it appropriate behavior in football at any level?

This attitude filters all the way down to middle school sports, and it is a problem. It has nothing to do with being tough or playing sharp; it has to do with bullying and the power bullies have while abusing others. It is unacceptable behavior at any level of sports. It is illegal behavior in the workplace.
