Re: Report: AL Harris out for season with torn ACL
no matter who the opposing team is, im not a fan of anyone getting into a serious injury which sidelines them for the year. hope everything goes smooth and he gets back on his feet quick.

Packers lose Harris, Kampman to knee injuries
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - The Green Bay Packers lost two cornerstones of their defense during Sunday's victory over San Francisco and could be playing without them for a lot longer.
Coach Mike McCarthy said the knee injuries to cornerback Al Harris and outside linebacker Aaron Kampman "did not look very good" and were cause for concern.

Re: Report: AL Harris out for season with torn ACL
Was a fan of Al Harris back when he was an Eagle but really I just cant get myself to like anyone CURRENTLY wearing green n yellow.
Hope he comes back though as long as it doesn't affect us in any way shape or form.

Re: Report: AL Harris out for season with torn ACL
I'm curious as to what happens with Kampman now?
He's in the last year of his contract.
He hadn't played well in the 3-4 system, and now there won't be any more chances for him to come around and get some good tape out there.
The franchise tag for DE or OLB will be something like $9-10 million I believe.
That doesn't seem ridiculous, but for a guy that has 3.5 sacks, probably doesn't fit in your system, and will be coming off a season ending knee injury?
My guess is that he has seen his last game in a Packers jersey.
He will probably be franchised and then traded during the off season.
Maybe for a first round pick?
Maybe only a second?
I don't know though, maybe Green Bay fans have heard differently.
Can't imagine that any trade would be with the Vikes.
And if Ray Edwards plays the way he has the past 3 games the rest of the season, I can't imagine the Vikes would care to bring him in.When the age of the Vikings came to a close, they must have sensed it. Probably, they gathered together one evening, slapped each other on the back and said, "Hey, good job." - Jack Handey [Deep Thoughts]

As injuries mount (they do this time of year) we will start to see how important depth is.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
