Regular Season likely to be released in early April
Now that the preseason schedule is out, it is time to get ready for the Regular Season announcement.
Usually this is in the first half of April, which was confirmed by Greg Aiello.
He was, however, quick to point out that there isn't a precise date set.
Admittedly this is one of my favorite moments of the offseason because I get to start planning my Minneapolis trips...
Plus the NFLN coverage is usually outstanding, with fairly in depth analysis of each week.
Anyway, PFT.com thinks that the schedule will be released on April 7th or 8th.
Their reasoning is that it doesn't come out on Monday (ruling out April 6th) and April 9th and 10th are Maundy Thrusday and Good Friday respectively, so it wouldn't fall there.
Personally, I think that is a little early.
I expect it to be out a week later on April 14th.
Depends on how quickly the owners approve the schedule though I guess.Zeus wrote:

Re: Regular Season likely to be released in early April
FYI, for those who are curious, this is when the schedule was released in recent history:
2006 - April 6th
2007 - April 11th
2008 - April 15th
So while April 7th or 8th is possible, I stand by my prediction of April 14th.Zeus wrote:
