Reggie White to have number retired
This is a great thing. I'll admit, I do not have a lot of good things to say about the Packers, but this is one of them. Reggie was a great football player and a person.

Hey he helped to revitalize the Packers when he signed there as a FA. He was a great player and an even better person he deserves this 100%.

Good move on the Packers part, good that White was told about it but a pity that he won't be there to see it for himself.
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

For some reason I found him to be really really annoying.
But he was one of the best ever, no doubt. And he deserved this.

His "speech" in front of the Legislature was hilarious though...it was like he didn't realize how many stereotypes he was promulgating. I think that he had a good heart, but I was embarrassed for him because of how he chose to express himself. It is a sad commentary on how ingrained those stereotypes are in our society.

Good on the Packers for that, Reggie is and and always will be one of the most respected football players of all time, on and off of the field. The press conference in front of the legislature was a blip on an otherwise brilliant life and career!
Even Viking fans miss Reggie!!
Cheers!
