    Reggie Bush

Mark Ingram being the new RB in New Orleans they will most likely be saying good-bye to Reggie Bush.

I have watched almost every single Saints game since he was a rookie in 2006. This guy may not be the best back or a franchise back, but he is a quarterback's best friend no doubt. I feel this team would be a perfect fit as we look for someone to take the complete load off Adrian Peterson. We also lack someone who is good at picking up pass protection. We have Toby, Adrian, and Booker; but Reggie Bush is going to contribute to this team as a PR, 3rd down back, and change in pace back. It will also help the development with new quarterback Christian Ponder. Never in my life have I seen a guy that teams worry so much about. He isn't worth 10 million but he is a very underrated player who has a big chip on his shoulder. We can put him in so many places and with percy and reggie working the short passing game, it will definitely revolutionize our WCO.

There was a discussion on NFLN where Corey Chavous asked "Do you consider Reggie Bush a bust?" A response was an immediate yes, and Corey Chavous responded with something along the lines of "Well I don't think he's a bust, every time we went to play New Orleans we always game planned around Reggie Bush and where he's going to be on the field." So if you don't believe me I don't think you can go against the word of a former player who played against him. I don't think a player is a bust when so many teams respect his ability. Although we don't need him and he's not a great player, he's going to bring a lot to the table and I really think he'll be a great fit for us as both RB and PR.

I don't think they'll get rid of Bush. I think they will feature Ingram with Bush as the 3rd rounder and Ivory coming in once in awhile.
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

you read Reggie Bush's twitter and tell me players say that all the time. With the exception of Chad Johnson (who talks a lot as it is) and Pierre Thomas being resigned he's definitely out. My cousin is a die hard New Orleans fan and he knows Ingram is a great pick and that will instantly improve the team, but Bush is special and he knows it.

I hope not. Hate to be playing him and his punt returns twice every season.

    Re: Reggie Bush

I would love to bring him in here. We would have so much versatility with Bush, Harvin, Peterson that we could attack defenses from any direction we want...unfortunately Bush will likely come with a price tag that would be too high for a utility back.

Bush won't get his money, and I don't want him here.

Bush being out there means Peterson isn't. Peterson is a far bigger weapon than Bush is.

Unless he was brought in purely as a third down back and punt returner, which I wouldn't be opposed to.

Reggie Bush is a poor man's Percy Harvin. Any situation, I'd take PH.
