Take a look at this quote:

We've got a lot of guns on the streets. We've got too many young people who are introduced to crime as a way of life. We've got too many people in poverty-stricken, crime-ridden neighborhoods that are so full of hopelessness that there's not even a window to a better life. We've got too many parents and adults that neglect or misguide a child so frequently and so harshly that he ends up as a teenager in Sean Taylor's living room, holding a loaded gun. We've got a society that, with the right combination of the wrong circumstances, provides access to this life for young people way too easily.
I've said it before. Small arms should be illegal.
Guns don't kill people. People kill people. You don't see me blaming my keyboard for typo's do you?

Drunk drivers kill people. Should alcohol be illegal?

A lot of people get stabbed. Should knives be illegal?

People get bludgeoned to death. Should hammers & baseball bats be illegal?

The answer to all of the above is no. In the hands of responsible people, everyone one of those are safe & the people using them don't pose a threat to other individuals.

For once, I won't argue with you Singer,
you hit the nail on the head with your above post.....People Kill People, that the way it's always been and always will be....

I would bet that most of these people that go off the deep end and ruin things for the rest of us had an unstable home life growing up.

Accused shooter Eric Rivera is admitting no wrongdoing in the case yet but wants to talk to prosecutors about a plea deal.

    I agree with Cogs.

What are handguns made for? To kill people.

Civilians should not be allowed to purchase or carry hand guns IMO.

You start there, and then someone would want to make it so you can't own a bb gun, pellet gun, or deer rifle.

I'm not going into this again. It would only get the thread locked. And I think it's a derail of the thread that is not worthy of the fact that Taylor is dead in a tragic way.

I stand by my statement though.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

: Yep, everyone who buys a handgun buys it with intent to kill someone. **sarcasm off**

Again, people kill people, not the guns themselves. If they didn't have handguns, the people hell bent on robbing
or killing someone would simply use some other type of weapon.

If Taylor would have had a handgun handy, it's possible he'd still be alive by using it to protect himself & his family.
