Re: Redskins offer 1st rounder for Lance Briggs!

Just my under-educated opinion, but I think the best move the Vikes could make would be to go ahead and sign Ian Scott to a 1 or 2-year deal.
That would then put the hurtin' on the Bears Defense, and they'd almost be forced to take Adams or another Defensive player with the #6 pick.
That's presuming the trade with Washington goes through.
Even if it doesn't, they'll still be stuck with Briggs sitting out, and still be sitting at #31, well away from where the Vikes are picking.

In any event, if they make the trade and get #6, I don't see them going for Offense.
They've already lost too much of their Defense, and that's what got them to the SuperBowl.

So let me get this straight....... :

You want a team (that is in our Div/Was in the SB) to move up and take the best defensive player available (Adams) ahead of us
    :

    I am a bit confused.
We need help (this can be argued and of course it will) at the following in this order:

    1.
WR - CJ is the only one worth taking at 7.
    2.
DE - (Pass Rusher) Gaines Adams/Anderson.
Adams is probably the best of the two for what we need.
    3.
OL - (Right side) - Thomas is the only one that is worth taking at 7
    4.
CB - No one is worth taking at 7.
    5.
QB - Quinn (No not Russell) is the only one worth taking here.
    6.
RB - AP is the only one worth taking at 7.

Only CJ/Quinn/AP are worth trading up for.
Logic dictates that all three of those will be gone by 7 after being selected by teams in draft positions already slotted to them or by teams moving up to 1, 2, or 4 to take them.

I for one hope the trade falls through, Scott signs someplace other than the bears and the Redskins brain fart and don't take Adams (Reach for a LB/Paul Posluszny or DT/Amobi Okoye as Branch will be gone) leaving only Anderson (not a bad pick but Adams woud be better) for us.

You need to edit this to read:
"...and take the player who I believe is the best defensive player available..."

Some think LaRon Landry is the best.
    Others think Patrick Willis.
And some idjuts think it's Leon Hall.
Respect the opinions of others and they will respect yours!

Or just don't give a shit like Del.

Politics has little to do with it.
The spelling, grammar, and useage police should realize adding ' I believe' or ' my opinion' is redundant. Anything posted is assumed to be the writers opinion unless otherwise stated.
So those seeking perfection sometimes fall short! lol!
I don't think there is much we can do about the Briggs situation but hope he somehow gets stuck in Chicago.
