Re: Red getting a taste of his dream...
At least the owner tom hicks might get a new stadium, if they would have to destroy the building because of the damage, he probably won't have to pay a dime. Just a thought doubt it will happen
You republican whore!

Let's hope for the sake of Saints fans that the move is not permanant.

I don't think it is an issue. I just hope the NO can recover to sustain football. Lots of people might leave and not come back. People need to work and find jobs to support themselves. When they evacuate, they might nit come back. The Saints might have to relocate to another place in La where fans can drive to and from to get to the game. Who knows when the city will let people back in or when it will be able to have the roadways to get people in?????Let's hope for the sake of Saints fans that the move is not permanant.
Besides, they are just practicing there not playing there for now. It would be a neutral site but I would think they would rather play in state.
The Saints minds won't be on football when we play them in week 3, this will linger on for a while.

Re: Red getting a taste of his dream...
It will be late in the season before the superdome could possible be ready, if at all this year.
I remember a couple of years ago when the Bears had to play at Champaign while they remodeled Soldier. The Bears players were saying that it through off their whole season, that ever game was a road game!
That could just be an excuse, but it is going to be tough for the Saints this year!!!What we've got here is failure to communicate.

They now speculate that the Saints may play all their home games at LSU which would be great for the Saints."DarrinNelsonguy" wrote:
