Re: Reactions to Favre retirement

I think one of the most disappointing thing about Favre's retirement is that Grand Webmaster Webby has yet to comment on it.

Surprise and a sense of personal loss.

That was the reaction of Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell to Tuesday's news out of Green Bay that quarterback Brett Favre is retiring after 17 record-filled seasons.....

Favre's speech following father's death stands out most to Bevell

Darrell Bevell spent six years coaching Brett Favre in Green Bay, but the Vikings offensive coordinator said his top memory of the retiring QB didn't occur on the field.

Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell was on the Packers coaching staff from 2000 to '05 and got to see Brett Favre put on many of his great performances up close.....

    Re: Reactions to Favre retirement

My neighbor was depressed after hearing Brett retired and left the Packers.

I told him to call Lifeline.

    So he called Lifeline.

He got a call center in Pakistan & told them he was suicidal.

They got all excited and asked him if he could drive a truck.
