It will be interesting to see whether the coaches didn't teach him to properly read defenses and time his throws downfiled and whether they caused his confusion and frustration or whether he continues the same trends in Miami.

I am glad to see him gone one way or the other and if he grows to MVP status in Miami I will excuse the actions he took to get out. But if he becomes what he left off here last year as in terms of a performer and leader then I will thank the staff for dropping him.

Re: Reaction tonight to see Daunte in a different uniform

I'm going to root for Daunte for as long as he is in the league, when he is not playing the Vikings of course. He is one of my favorite players and he has magnificent talent. I have always said that his failures last year were a coaching problem and I still believe that. I hope Daunte succeeds and since he is in the AFC the Dolphins just might become my favorite AFC team. However, I cannot ever become as passionate about the Dolphins as I am about the Vikes.

Unlike some people, I just prefer not to hold grudges. If you hold grudges with past players in this day and age of free agency, you are going to become a very spiteful fan.

Yes, if you randomly hold grudges that would be true.
    Some players deserve grudges.
Players that shit on your favorite team fall in that category.
Most players move around unnoticed by most in this era of free agency.
Players like T-Ho leave an indelible mark on the franchise.
Daunte's childish e-mails to the AP deserve a grudge, in my book, he earned it.

il always root for moss, because i know he loved playing in the state of minnesota for the minnesota vikings..culpepper had no desire to play here though, and forced his selfish jiggly butt out..i wish randy the best, and hope to see him get back to his true form where he comes up with 1500 yards and 14 TDs..while i hope daunte busts another knee, or even better gets through an entire season by setting the fumble and int records
Dang! I feel the EXACT same way.
I wish Moss the best, and wish to watch Daunte fail on national television.

I have to look at this a different way. I honestly don't blame Daunte for leaving. He was one of tthose players that no matter what he could do no right. This man an MVP type season and was still ripped by alot of peopel both in the media and outside the media for his play. I honestly can't blame him for wanting to leave. I am glad hhe is gone but not because I dislike him. I just think he was never appreciated here.

The MN press is famous for hating on the Vikings.
He has to have a tougher spine to survive.
Imagine if he was playing for a NY team and had some off games/seasons.
The MN media is childs play compared to the NY media when it comes to critquing their players.

I was a Daunte supporter until he pulled his spineless maneuvers last offseason.
    He wanted out.
    He got out.
I am glad he is gone because he wanted out and he would have been a cancer, regardless of his abilities.

I'm not one to hold grudges either, but Daunte acted like a whinning little child who wanted a new toy...

Biggest thing I didn't agree with was, he only attended ONE GAME after his injury...Where the hell was his team support?......And that was way before Childress was in the picture......I still believe his wife was behind him leaving in more ways than one, but he really sold out on his coaches and team mates if you ask me...

For that, he is a loser and always will be a loser in my eyes....

I have to admit that this will really be the first time to actually see DC play for the Dolphins. I honestly do not know how I feel about it yet so it will be curious to see how people react during and after the game. Personally I hope he does well tonight but I also do not think that we will get a
good evaluation on him until at least half way through the season
    Daunte who?

I have no grudge against him, I wish him all the best.I think the Phins can pull of a win tonight. However I'm glad I dont have him leading us down the field for a win at the end of a game. He'll always find a way to screw it up.
