KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Running back Larry Johnson has ended his holdout, joining the Kansas City Chiefs for practice Tuesday morning.
The NFL Network's Adam Schefter is reporting that Johnson agreed to a six-year extension.
Johnson has been absent since the Chiefs opened training camp July 27 in River Falls, Wisc.
Chiefs spokesman Bob Moore seemed surprised to see Johnson in uniform, taking a swing pass from quarterback Brodie Croyle. Moore says Johnson will speak to the media Wednesday.
Johnson has broken the Chiefs' single-season rushing record in each of the past two seasons. He ran for 1,789 yards last year and set an NFL record with 416 carries.

That probably puts Priest Holmes on track to start looking for another team if he wants to resume his NFL career.

My draft is on labor day and i have the 2nd pick who should i pick???LJ or Steven Jackson...it is a tough decision

That is a tough call...I'd probably go with Jackson though.

I've got Jackson as my number 2 overall but we get a point per reception and he had over 90 last year.
Plus he is younger and defenses will have to respect the pass more than against KC IMO.
That being said he should suffer a career ending injury any day now.

No it's not.
LJ has missed most of camp and will be running behind a severely depleted offensive line.
Jackson has been in camp all day, will be running behind the same line as last year, has a QB who's top-5 in the league, WRs who are top-notch in Holt and Bruce.
Steven Jackson, all the way.
