Re: Ray Lewis says he'll contact Jets if Favre returns

Ray Lewis has a better chance to win the superbowl with the ravens next year than the jets. the jets have one of the longest superbowl abcent streaks in the league. what makes anyone think that next year is the year?
and why the hell you would want favre as your quarterback? he is the cancer and throws more to the other team than his own. unless lewis wants to defend short fields all year long, he should stick with the ravens.
    We're bringing purple back.

Hard for a QB to even put up 100 yards and a score with that injury Favre had
If his injury was really that severe, why jeopordize his teams chances for the playoffs?

Was Favre being selfish, wanting to keep his consecutive game streak and reputation as an ironman intact, perhaps?

    Uh, YES.
Favre is the one of the most selfish guys in the league in my opinion.
He tries to hide it but he has an ego that is like the shadow of TOs.

    Violence, sex, and drugs.
The only way you are going to make this game more appealing to the public than it was before is if there are on field orgies at halftime and the domes become massive opium dens."

Mort whatsis name said he believes Favre is done. From what I saw at the end of the season. I'm not sure I want him. He looked OLD and tired. For the first time.
A lot of that was due to his arm injury. Look at what he did before that injury.
    Threw INTs?

Gonna be fun to watch all the player movement this year.

Alot of good Coordinators took HC'ng positions and most of them went to teams that have alot of CAP space to burn.

My guess is they will try to get thier FO's to get key players from thier last teams to come in and help get thier new program off and running.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
