they probably have a better chance at resigning Ray... Tagging him would give him a rediculous salary, more than tagging any other linebacker.

This is what I tried explaing to those who thought Brown would never become available, he could still get signed in the next couple days but I think its highly unlikely. They cannott afford to loose all three LB's, especailly Suggs, they will be forced to use the tag and let Brown enter the Market.

Some people were thinking Brown would be getting tagged because they felt Suggs and Lewis would take home town discounts and they need to start adding quality offensive players

And I don't blame them for thinking that way

Of ccourse their linebackers are the core of their team.. but you also need offense.. And it would not have surprised me personally had they tagged Brown.. Although obviously Suggs or Lewis would have been a better choice

Yeah especailly when reports came out saying they would tag him. I been all over the internet, nobody really thought Jason Brown would become available, I always did. Hopefully we can make a run at him, #1 Priority.
