And the 49'rs are getting stronger.

Back to Boldin......I love the signing even though AB does seem to get dinged alot. Gives that young QB a very nice target.

Best move so far IMHO. He gets hurt because he plays so freakin tough!

If they can get Mason back too, they've got a real nice 1-2 start to help backoff defenses, or make them pay, for stacking the box vs. where they're really, really good...rushing with Ray Rice of Rutgers, the bruiser MacClain, and that other guy (who scored 12 TDs).

And, they only had to give up a 3rd and swap their 4th for a 5th!!!! They could still get some nice picks in the 1st and 2nd to get younger on D, or some more playmakers on O!

Yup. ATM, Looks like the NFC west will be SF's to lose...
Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!

Re: the Cards: Early Doucet will step right in for Quan IMO. He is ready to bust out...and plays similarly (no, I'm not saying the same) to Quan. I think Dansby leaving and Warner retiring are much more important than trading Boldin.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

If Mason stays, I would day Ravens are the early favourite in the AFC.

Cardinals automatically became bad when Leinhart became the best quarterback on their roster.
    We're bringing purple back.

A quick look at thier roster shows me that they seem to have some young talent were a Vet like Mason would come in handy......

    -- Chris Hannon WR 26 6-3 205 1 Tennessee
    14 Justin Harper WR 25 6-3 215 2 Virginia Tech
    -- Maurice Price WR 24 6-1 197 2 Charleston Southern
    -- Eron Riley WR 22 6-3 205 1 Duke
    81 Marcus Smith WR 25 6-1 215 3 New Mexico
    -- Donte' Stallworth WR 29 6-0 200 8 Tennessee
    -- Davon Drew TE 24 6-4 257 1 East Carolina

.......however, I think the addition of Stallworth kindof makes Mason expendable as he can fill that role.
