If McCallister was crippled and 50 years old id still take him over Benny Sapp.

I'd rather draft Moore or Smith. We need a potential replacement for Winfield. I do believe we will resign Winfield.

yes he is a little on the old side but there is reason why he was not thrown on very often.
BUt your comment to get rid of winfield is just ridiculous

Well he's gonna be a free agent and I think it's gonna be another Sharper situation where his declining skills won't match up to an increasing pay check in Minnesota. Age plays a bigger part at the CB position than just about any where else on the field.

If he plays at a high level all season long and deserves a 2 or 3 year deal, I'll be glad to be wrong.

i do think he will still continue to perform at pro bowl level, and i think he would re sign for a mid level price undersranding he loves it here and we are not far a super bowl run

The man is coming from an Pro bowl season, and you wouldn't mind seeing him go? So he goes, We'll only have Griffin who i'm comfortable with. And who else? a rookie CB will won't be NFL ready.

    Re: Raven's Cut MCalister

Unfortunately for those of you who covet this cat, my guess is he will be paid starters money (High up front/gauranteed).

Because of that, he isn't gonna sign a "incentive laden" contract of any sort.

On a side note, I feel sorry for the team that gambles on him and signs him to that contract by the way.
I strongly believe his better days are behind him (health wise) and that team will wind up eating some CAP over it.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
