You never know when the shelf life of an NFL running back will meet its expiration date. Shaun Alexander, best of the lot just three years ago, is now looking for a job....

I still think that CTaylor should be in that list. He's proven he can be a work horse, he has the skills and vision to be a solid starter in most of the teams in the NFL and cause we have AD, he gets shadowed.
in the world of the ever asking what have you done for me lately.. he's done a lot!!

Re: Ranking the top 25 running backs
Ernest Graham should be much higher... Same with Addai.
Willie Parker is not that good...
I also think that there is a difference between a "runner" and a "running back". If you just look at it as running the ball, Peterson is nr. 2, and Tomlinson is nr. 1. But if you look at a running back as also a guy who blocks and catches, I think the ranking would change. In other words, Adrian Peterson is a better runner than Westbrook, but Westbrook is a better all-around back.

So much of what makes a good running back is the O-line. The Vikings have a good to great one, atleast on running plays.I still think that CTaylor should be in that list. CTaylor has the lowest yards per carry of any back that has touched the ball the last couple years for the Vikings, of course he has also got the most carries too. He would be right on the line in my book.
