Is it just me or is it impossible to find a publication that doesn't compare the right side of the Vikings line to items that are leaky or pourous?

So, let me see if I understand this.....Minnesota's line, which has 3 Pro-Bowlers on it, gets ranked 15th.....while other lines, which get questioned if they're going to block as hard for a different RB, and only have one player named, get ranked higher.

Asshat.

That is about where I would expect us to be ranked at. The left side has the potential to be top 5 while the left has yet to show us they are better than bottom 5. The center is a former pro bowler and happens to be my favorite player on the team, but last year was not his best. All of that considered I think that rating is fair until our line shows that it has become a cohesive unit that can both protect the QB during pass plays as well as being able to open holes on both sides of the center. The last game last week we did see a huge run off the right side and the QB had time to throw so that is is a good thing and if it continues, they will start to get more respect.

What do these assclowns get paid for writing this stuff.

I think what they do is peruse the forums, gather the info we state, and put it into an article.

We really have 2 offensive lines, the left side, which is great, and the right side, which is still being worked out.

Are we 15?
Probably.
Could we be higher?
Definitely.

I just wonder how some of these people come up with some of this stuff.
Not saying this article is wrong or crappy, just tired of articles in general.

I really need for the regular season to start so I can relieve some frustration.

being underrated can be a good thing.
and who really cares what writers say. then think about the cardinals. at least we aren't them

Dude, it's just a biased ranking by people who do nothing all day except brainstorming more ways to be biased. Anyhow, the lower we're ranked, the more surprised people will be when we show them that we can block, (and that we block the same for any RB...)

Good grief.
How can you expect me to take an article ranking arguably the most comprehensive group in football compiled by a sports writer in a city that doesn't even have an NFL football team.
Check please...this guy might as well be a writer for the University of Central Florida Volante.

I've decided to rank this among the bottom 5 percent of articles I've read this season.

People People People, There isn't a Defensive Coordinator (or Head Coach for that matter) that pays any attention to drivel like this no matter how accurate or not.

Watch the game against the Jets.
The line (left and right) are coming together. Sure a bit shaky in a couple of instances but coming together none the less.

Read this crap for what it is, entertainment, because that is all its worth.

He's looking at last year like so mant of these guys do.
The first preseason game the line pass blocked surprisingly well despite having Herrera at left guard and Hicks at right guard. They didn't run block too well though.
The second game they blocked pretty pretty well for the run and pass.
Last night was a little more challenging but they weren't bad.
Birk looks pretty good. He still holds a lot shshshshshsh!

Hicks is blocking better and has actually made some good plays this year. Cook is coming along and appears to be blocking well most of the time.

I don't recall this line being a sieve yet this year.
