But look at the bright side. We finally have a top 25 Coach. That hasn't happened in a few years.

I have faith in Childress,at least it seems the team is heading a way,rite or wrong but a way ,and that is something imho

Am I the only one that picked up on the fact that Mike Tomlin (who worked under Childress in 2006) is ranked 9 spots above Childress after only his first year of head coaching?

Actually I thought it was a good thing.
Shows this organization highers good football minds.
Put that with a team that was pretty damn sound to beging with and he should be ranked pretty high IMHO.

I noticed it, but he should be. He had a 10-6 record last year and Childress has not cracked .500 in two. Not much surprise there for me.

Really? With Dungy on that list as well, it tells me the Vikings FO is letting better coaches walk away than what they are keeping.

I kindof put Dungy and Tomlin in different catagories.
Both good coaches that were from the Vikes but from entirely different regimes.

Besides, we can't stop them from leaving now can we?
If they are offered a position higher than what they are currently filling with our staff they have the right to leave.

McCarthy will fall way down after this year!
