Kevin Curtis probably deserves honorable mention as well.

I don't agree with all of you guys that are putting Wes Welker on your list. I am going by talent not just stats, and there is no way Welker has top 10 talent. He is just a product of NE's system and Randy Moss commanding all the double teams.

He is no where near as talented as Javon Walker. ;D

Could be on this list in a couple of years

    Dwayne Bowe
    Calvin Johnson
    Anthony Gonzales
    Sidney Rice
    Calvin Johnson

The "Old Guys". Guys at the end of their career that just seem to have solid years each year.

    Harrison
    Galloway
    Mason
    Toomer
    Porter
    Engram

In all honesty, you could make a similar argument about anyone Peyton Manning is throwing to... about being a product of a "System"

He was a gpood WR on a poor team in the Dophins. He was able put up those number with his YAC and was usually the 2nd and sometimes 3rd option on the team. Outside of Maybe Harrison, Boldin and Housh probably the best #2 WR in the league.

    15.)T.J. Houshmandzadeh

    On the bubble:
Calvin Johnson-I think he has the talent of a top 10 receiver but he was slowed by an injury his rookie year so I can't really put him in there since he hasn't proven anything.
    back where he belongs!

Re: Ranking the best WR's in the NFL

I kindof disagree with the guys/gals who say stats don't matter.

If I want to make sure I have a guy on the field who can move the chains I will want a possession guy at the end of one of the routes.
For me I would want (no matter what system they play in today):

    Name

    Catches
    Wes Welker WR, NWE 112
    T. Houshmandzadeh WR, CIN 112
    Reggie Wayne WR, IND 104
    Derrick Mason WR, BAL 103
    B. Marshall WR, DEN 102
    L. Fitzgerald WR, ARI 100
    Tony Gonzalez TE, KAN 99
    Randy Moss WR, NWE 98
    M. Colston WR, NOR 98
    Jason Witten TE, DAL 96
    Bobby Engram WR, SEA 94
    Chad Johnson WR, CIN 93
    Torry Holt WR, STL 93
    B. Westbrook RB, PHI 90
    Steve Smith WR, CAR 87
    Roddy White WR, ATL 83
    J. Cotchery WR, NYJ 82
    K. Winslow TE, CLE 82
    Donald Driver WR, GNB 82
    Terrell Owens WR, DAL 81
    B. Edwards WR, CLE 80

If I needed to convert in the red zone I would want one of these guys.

    Name

    TD
    Randy Moss WR, NWE 23
    B. Edwards WR, CLE 16
    Terrell Owens WR, DAL 15
    T. Houshmandzadeh WR, CIN 12
    P. Burress WR, NYG 12
    Greg Jennings WR, GNB 12
    M. Colston WR, NOR 11
    Dallas Clark TE, IND 11
    Reggie Wayne WR, IND 10
    L. Fitzgerald WR, ARI 10
    R. Williams WR, JAC 10
    Antonio Gates TE, SDG 9
    Anquan Boldin WR, ARI 9
    Nate Burleson WR, SEA 9
    Chad Johnson WR, CIN 8
    Wes Welker WR, NWE 8
    S. Holmes WR, PIT 8
    Andre Johnson WR, HOU 8

As I look at the FA's that are out there that can come in and fill T-wills roster spot I want a guy who can do both to a certain degree.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
