I doubt it. I have a feeling that Rice may not be the marquee receiver many have made him out to be.

    I do too.

This year, the best thing we can do is to give Favre as many weapons as possible. AD, Rice, Harvin, Shank, Berrian, and Camarillo is a pretty strong cast. Still not sure why we cut Walker though.

    Because he sucks.

Okay - perhaps that's not fair. How's this instead:

Because if he was on the Opening Day roster his entire $750,000 salary for the year would have been guaranteed. By cutting him now, if they bring him back, he's paid on a week-by-week basis.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Makes sense, except for the fact that he is needed for this game.

Okay - maybe not needed, but it would certainly help the situation. He's certainly better than Jaymar, and our nfl.com roster says we only have 4 active WRs for this game.

Berrian, Harvin, Camarillo and Lewis. Sounds fine to me.

Henry Lake is hinting on his twitter feed that a big trade could be coming. Moss possibly?

Wow!! Vikings are trying to make a major move. Can't reveal right now. Trying to confirm. #nfltrade #kfan #Vikings

Why did he run his mouth after the game?

If we make a major move, it will be for Vincent Jackson. As long as the asking price isn't too high, I'd say go for it.

Re: Is Randy Moss Bound for Minneapolis?

For the life of me I can't figure out why everyone seems to think Randy is a) Coming, and b) Would fit the scheme they are running.

A couple thoughts to chew on.......

    a. We don't exploit the deep areas of the field with Berrian. He is continually used on the shorter stuff. Why in the world do you think that we would change that just because Randy is on the team?

    b. We need WR's who aren't afraid of getting physical. Randy, the good lord love him, will go over the middle, and will run block, but not like we need him to do.

I don't think Randy wants to come to a team that will ask that of him.

My guess is, that this staff does want to improve this WR corps, not only for this year, but for the future. A cat like Vinnie Jack fits that bill.

Cats like Randy, Javon, and the other 4, not so much. If we do bring in a guy, he will be a bandaid until a long term fix can be found. Perhaps Vinnie Jack at the end of the year if a deal can't get done now.

A man who has a clue. Great post my friend.

Quick question, what do you think is a fair price?

I for one would give a second and a third, but not in the same year. Mostly because of how this team is currently structured. Lots of depth so not all of our draftees will make the team.

My guess, we offered a Second this year, Third next year and the Chargers wanted them both in this years draft.

    Knees my friend.

What would be fun to see is what kindof treatment he needed at the end of practice and when he played in the preseason games.

Probably a good indicator why he isn't on anyone teams right now.
