I will miss him. Leber was a solid player who did his job every snap every week without any off-field drama... and to a low cost.
I'm hoping Erin will step up this season. He would make our linebacker core great if he played to his potentials.
Leber was one of the most consistantly underated players on our defense who provided veteran leadership to a young LB corps. I wish him well.
:( :(
Our LB depth would be much better if we still had Leber, but it was definitely time for us to move on without him as the starter.
He was a leader and while not great, a very solid LB on a regular basis. If Erin performs to his talents, he is an upgrade, but he definitely fails to be top notch sometimes. Hopefully those days are behind him.

IMO, we downgraded/failed to improve the team yet again at a key position.
PFT updated that Leber hasn't agreed to terms yet while espn's Clayton has Leber signing a 1 year 1.25 mil deal, 1.25 seems like a do-able deal for the Vikes, they must have felt it was time to get younger

I agree. I always felt that Ben provided solid play, even when the rest of the "D" would crumble. Ben was never a Superstar...just solid.Quote:

Two solid points there my friends. Problem is, you have to trust the coaching staff and FO pukes at some point (even though I'm not sure I do atleast on offense).Quote:

Ben, although solid, did have his issues. Lets hope that the coaches agreed on this move and moved on to a player that will make us better regardless of what us fans think.
