At a press conference Tuesday, St. Louis head coach Scott Linehan confirmed Moe Williams is "on the (Rams') radar."

With Marshall Faulk out for the season, the Rams are expected to acquire a running back prior to or during training camp. Williams visited St. Louis earlier this offseason but was recovering from microfracture knee surgery and unable to pass a physical. Jul. 25 - 7:39 pm et

I think that would be a great fit for Moe.

That was in the news a while ago, I would like to see him play some more. He's one of those guys that will get the cheers when the Rams play the Vikings.

Nick Wagoner, of StLouisRams.com, reports there has been some talk the St. Louis Rams could turn to another former Minnesota Vikings running back, free agent RB Moe Williams (Vikings) as a potential No. 2 running back now that RB Marshall Faulk (knee) is done for the 2006 season.

Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports agent Ethan Lock said Tuesday, April 25, free agent RB Moe Williams (Vikings) has not formally retired and may return to the NFL. "It's not clear that he's retiring," Lock said. "That's not accurate at all." Williams will have to find an NFL team willing to sign him.

Fair play to Moe if he goes down to St Louis.. He'd get another year and I don't think anyone here would begrudge him that after his loyal service to the Vikings.

i really hope he does sign with them! i've been saying everytime it was brought up that he has at least one more season in him, he's a class act, willing to stay with us even if that means taking a pay cut

although, if he does play w/ them, i hope when he retires he signs a one-day contract w/ us to do it!
