raiders trade jolley, get back into the first round
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2042190
they give up doug jolley their te to the jets for the jets first round draft pick.
i think this is a good trade for both honestly, jets get a proven player with some potential still, while the raiders get back into the first and can rely on teyo johnson who i belive can be a big (literally) threat at te.[b:4b97d41fa6]Hey Green Bay...[/b:4b97d41fa6]

I don't know much about jolley... I know that the jets were looking for a good TE so i guess this is it.

Re: raiders trade jolley, get back into the first round
Idk but for some reason, I'm wanting the Raiders to do bad next season. I know it's pretty mean, but I just that if they have a better season than the Vikes, the media will slam us for trading him. About the trade, it looks like the Raiders are getting really serious about this season, seems like they might be trying to make a run within the next couple years.
The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.

well making a run is one thing.
doing it with only offense is another.
that defense has so many question marks its not even funny.[b:4b97d41fa6]Hey Green Bay...[/b:4b97d41fa6]

I guess they figured that Heath Miller would be gone by the 26th pick. The Skins might nab him with their newly aquired 25th pick.

I dont think you value a "decent" TE enough for a first.

Re: raiders trade jolley, get back into the first round
i beleive the raiders could do ok next year even with the crap defense.
at first, the offense will be all "shoch and awe" on everybody.. but eventually it'll level off."There is good and there is evil. And evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I will not compromise."

Jolley is NOT worth a first rounder.
On a side note it looks like the Raiders are doing a wholesale on their players, looks like someone is rebuilding.
