Sun, 24 Dec 2006 08:41:03 -0800

Elias Sports Bureau, Inc. reports the Oakland Raiders' Week 16 loss marked their 14th consecutive loss against AFC West opponents. The streak is the longest stretch of division losses by an NFL team since the New Orleans Saints dropped 15 consecutive games against the NFC West from 1995 to 1997. The loss also extended the team's streak to 11 consecutive home losses against division opponents. It is the NFL's longest such streak since the Detroit Lions lost 12 consecutive games to NFC Central opponents from 1985 to 1988.

Figures that the Lions are mentioned in this.
At least if you're a Raider fan you have some past glory to live off.
I have to respect people walking around with a Lions jersey on...either a hardcore fan or retarded.
