Oakland sucks! I should have won in FF but the guy I played against had the Atlanta Falcons defense and scored 26 points.

If the Lions find a way to lose this one, you can all but book an 0-16 season.
This game should be televised on all major networks for all the world to see the ineptness of these two teams.

For what I guess in your post ,you say the Raiders are playing against Detroit this season.It is a sure lame but that won´t happen till 2010 again

The Raiders are stuck in 1969 with their "pass long" philosophy. They continue to build bad teams "from the outside in", getting receivers first and then worrying later about who will block for the QB while their QB is taking that 8-step drop to throw the ball 65 yards. As John Gruden noted, "the QB will never get time to do that, because by that time, he will be on his back". When Gruden was coach, he brought in Rich Gannon and implemented a west coast offense which worked well. When he left, the revolving door at head coach has resulted in terrible teams and a re-commitment to "the long ball".

Oh, did I mention that their defense is totally 2-dimensional and scares no one because they never blitz ?

I love the Raiders because thye just remained me that Viking football life could be much worse.

As long as a certain mad old git is running that team, they will continue to suck. What they need is a good coach, free to build his system for a couple years and the owner staying the hell away from the on-field and personnel decisions.

Haha ya my buddy is a die hard raider fan and finally got the chance to go see them....unfortunately that was the game he chose. He said he wanted to leave after the first touchdown and the fans were all jerks.

He got to cheer once the whole game and that was the blocked field goal that they did nothing with....

I felt so bad.
