We could use Wilson as a starter, Edwards as a depth player.. But Curry i would stay away from.

Why not?
If they have a player or two that is an upgrade or can provide good depth to the team why not pick them up?
Basically to use what you are saying since the Lions were 0-16 (worse than the Raiders) you wouldn't want Calvin Johnson if he became available?

Wilson was a cap victim. He can play but with Williams and Johnson, I doubt he ends up here.

Would you want Asomugha?
They both played for the Raiders.

I'm not saying I would want any of the 3 but just because they play for a certain team doesn't mean I wouldn't want them.
