Re: Raiders to let Moss go at the end of the season

The Raiders would have to have someone good in the bag before they just released him. I just can't see them dumping him at the end of the year without signing at least a couple other players first. I would love to see him back in Purple. I would welcome Moss and Onterrio back with open arms. Next year our O-line will be where it needs to be and if those two are back, our offense would be unstoppable no matter who the QB is. Moss, K Rob, M Robinson, Nate B plus Wiggins would be deadly to any defense.

Oh and by the way this ain't gonna happen

This is just talk radio specualtion. Happens all the time; nothing new if you ever listen to it a lot.

Re: Raiders to let Moss go at the end of the season

This is probably what was heard on the radio & mis-interpreted. I got it from an article on scout.com.

"Tuiasosopo may give the Raiders a chance to cut loose Randy Moss. Although Collins has a stronger downfield arm, which would in theory give Moss a chance to get deep, opponents have consistently played Moss with a soft man-to-man, conceding the short routes, and playing with safety help deep to prevent long passes"

Re: Raiders to let Moss go at the end of the season

I honeslty don't think that the Raiders are disapointed in him at all. He has been hurt a lot this season. They would never let him go, but if they did I would take Randy back with open arms.

Re: Raiders to let Moss go at the end of the season

It is just a rumor after all. I think it would take another injury plagued season for the Raiders to even consider trading Moss. It is looking like the Vikings did right by trading him. I just wish we got more for him in the deal.

What is important is that even with Moss, the Raiders still suck.
