Raiders fire coach Jackson after disappointing 8-8 season
NFL.com news: Raiders fire coach Jackson after disappointing 8-8 season
Well that seems harsh especially after an 8-8 season hope Frazier reads this and appreciates how lucky he is after a 3-13 season. Seems like McKenzie is going to go through the Raiders organisation like a dose of salts.Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

I was pretty surprised by this. I think the team liked Jackson in general. It definitely hurt him that all he had to do was win in the final week to get in the playoffs and kill TebowMania ... the Raiders could have a bright future if they play this right and get the right guy.

Sounds like they pushed the panic button to me. I do not agree with their decision.

Raiders are going in the right direction and they just got unlucky when Campbell got hurt. Took too long for Palmer to get up to game speed. Also had McFadden go down. That sure didn`t help.
We're bringing purple back.
