Quinn Won't Interview At Pro Day
From Pro Football Talk
QUINN WON'T INTERVIEW AT PRO DAY
A league source tells us that the NFL teams have been advised by letter that quarterback Brady Quinn will not be doing any interviews with coaches or scouts at his March 4 Pro Day.
Um, yeah, that's a good way to reverse his potential free fall.
Quinn was once thought to be the first overall pick in the draft.
Now, he'll be lucky to land in the top ten.
Re: Quinn Won't Interview At Pro Day
That's smart....Whenever I've had chance at a good job I've decided to skip the interview.
::)
Re: Quinn Won't Interview At Pro Day
What is the strategy behind that
???
Sounds like a potential head case to me.
Re: Quinn Won't Interview At Pro Day
Could be two things.
Either he is stupid or someone has already promised him they would select him with their pick.
If thats the case you want to avoid going to any other team.
This happens in the NBA a lot around draft time.
Players pull out of workouts and stuff to send a bad signal to the other teams.

I seriously doubt someone would intentionally sabotage their chances to be drafted higher by doing this without a really good reason. He has to have an agent by now advising him on this stuff. You could be right that already has found a team. For him to quit politicing for a higher spot in the draft I would guess this is probably one of the first four teams. Maybe Cleveland as that is where he said he wanted to go anyway. Verrrry interesting!
Re: Quinn Won't Interview At Pro Day
Not sure how much the kid has upstairs, he could hardly speek a full sentance without having a marble fall out of his mouth at the combine interview...
I don't see Cleveland picking him at #3 either,
they are in some serious need for O linemen and D linemen....without those first, if they do take Quinn, they better have a stretcher on the sidelines at all times....

i would say the latter of the two.
he probly already has a team that he likes that has promised to select him.
otherwise he wouldn't hurt his chances by not interviewing with teams.
Re: Quinn Won't Interview At Pro Day
I think Quinn will be gone in the first 10 picks, it would be nice if he was gone before the 7th and then the Vikes won't be tempted and we could get someone like Gaines or Anderson at DE

League sources say Quinn is taking time off to model for GQ's summer blow out issue.
Yep, just as I thought. ;D

Yeah, I don't see much opportunity for vikings to trade down like some do, unless its with Carolina where we could join the crap shoot at WRs
