    Are you kidding me?
Him slipping is making Cajun happy (and me).

If he's around in the 2nd round you better believe the Vikes will be likely to pounce!

Yeah, seems like our need guys are either moving up and out of range of No.17, or they're moving down, and possibly into the 2nd round.
Seems to me the talent pool in this year's draft drops significantly around pick 5 or 6 and then again 5 or 6 picks later, but from somewhere around the middle of the first to the middle of the second runs pretty even, and maybe even through the 2nd...it would be nice to have an extra pick in there somewhere.
If we were able to trade back and still land top end talent at OT (Cherilus, Baker?), DL (Merling, Laws), and Kelly (or Early? he also sounds like the clutch, make the freakin catch no matter what guy-I picture Kelly being-and TJack needing) by late in the 2nd I'd be so happy I could crap my pants and just sit there smiling

I would think Ferg would be the one to go...

The kid IS clutch... he was just that player that when you watched the games, you knew two things:

    1) Chances are, the ball was coming his way.
    2) He was going to catch it.

True, we've kept five WRs the past two years, and that seems to be the program, but competition is good at all spots, and there is a chance another position we like our top end talent at could be trimmed to accomodate the luxury of having young talent and a few vets at WR.

    whats up with early?

Pedestrian 40 time is gonna make him slide down....I just hope that the Vikes figure out that he is a steal in Round 2 if he is still available when they pick.
Better from Day One than Wade and Fergy, that's for sure.
