Pro Bowl no longer played in Hawaii as of 2010

MIAMI -- The Pro Bowl will be played one week before the Super Bowl in 2010 and both games will be staged in Dolphin Stadium, a person directly involved in the decision told The Associated Press on Monday.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the NFL has not announced the move.

The game is already a joke, there is no way that any player playing in the SB is going to risk injury in that game.

a week before the superbowl is silly, i guess it means more players will make the pro bowl as replacements, superbowl teams and even teams in the conference champ game likely wont want to or even be able to play in the game.

I'll wait for it to come closer, like indy's new stadium. Even though it's not a warm weather city, it's alot closer to here and the most events will be inside anyway.

Does anyone know the cities for the next few super bowls? Naturally indy and dallas are on the list i'm sure. Might be 2020 before it gets back here, obviously it won't be until we get a new stadium.

I was thinking the same thing? Why Before the super bowl? Oh well I guess that means no Vikes playing since they will be defending their SB title that year.

I do like the idea of stop playing in Hawaii and change it to the city where the SB is played.
Makes everything easier to organize etc etc

How does this make any sense?
It's not really going to take much attension away from the SB.
It will just be a joke, especially when the SB players don't play.

The Pro Bowl is to reward the work of the best players and coaches. They get a chance to meet, network, and relax, while also putting on a show.
If you want to draw more attension to it, don't announce the MVP, Rookie of the year, etc. till half time of the Pro Bowl.

I'm sure there is something other than have it mess with the weeks before the SB.
